Mentoring for B2B software founders
For B2B software founders who want help getting to market, or getting ready to scale. There is no cost: this is my way of giving back to the industry. Places are limited, so the programme is selective.
Early, small and serious about growth.
- A B2B software business: you sell software to other businesses.
- Fewer than 14 full-time employees.
- Turnover under $1M a year.
- Established less than 30 months ago.
Outside these limits? The Revenue Engine Diagnostic or Leader Advisory may suit you better.
Giving back to the industry that built my career.
I have been a co-founder, the first sales hire and the first commercial hire, and I advise founders today. The hardest sales are the first ones, made before there is a brand, a playbook or a reference customer. Founders who get those right early save themselves years.
B2B software has given me a career. Mentoring its next founders is my way of giving something back, in the same spirit as charity work: there is no fee and no equity. It also keeps me close to what founders are facing now.
Four steps, each one earned.

Send a short description of the business and your pitch: why you should get mentoring rather than the next founder.
Qualifying meeting
One hour together on your vision, strategy and markets. You leave with practical direction whatever happens next.
Coaching programme
Depending on how you put that first session to work, you join the coaching programme to work out how to execute.
Mentoring with Jonathan
A small number of founders are selected for ongoing mentoring with me.
Make your case.
Applications come straight to me and I read every one. Please check the criteria above first: places go to B2B software businesses with fewer than 14 full-time staff, turnover under $1M and less than 30 months of trading.
